3 day juice fast menu plan: kickstart your health, baby!

Here is a complete 3 day juice fast menu plan with a shopping list to make it all easy for you!   A 3 day juice cleanse is just what people need to jumpstart their health.

If you don’t have these fruits or vegetables in your city, then just substitute for something else as you see fit. This is just a general guide, you don’t’ need to follow it exactly.

If you feel really hungry, definitely drink more juice and more water. If you prefer to switch up your juice with a smoothie, I’ve included 3 smoothie recipes at the bottom of this page.Be sure to drink at least your weight in ounces of water each day. 


Shopping list for the 3 day juice fast

Get a good size bag of these. What you don’t use in the set recipes you can use for your snack juices.

  • Apples
  • Grapefruits
  • Kale
  • Carrots
  • Lemons
  • Oranges
  • Fresh Ginger
  • A whole pineapple
  • Tomatoes
  • Spinach
  • Celery
  • Strawberries
  • Beet
  • Non caffeinated herbal tea
  • Produce to make your own “snack juice” for during the day
  • Produce to make optional smoothies if you want


The 3 day juice fast menu

Day 1

Breakfast Juice: Apple Grapefruit Juice

2 apples
2 grapefruits

Core the apples and peel the grapefruit. Juice together and drink.

Lunch Juice: Kale Orange Lemon

Handful of kale
3 oranges
1 lemon

Peel the oranges. Juice the lemon, oranges and kale together. Serve.

Snack Juice

Drink a glass of any fruit of vegetable juice that you like. Use your leftover produce.

Dinner Juice: Carrot – Apple - Ginger

4 carrots
2 apples
1 small knob of ginger

Core the apples and cut the tops off of the carrots if necessary. Juice the carrots, apples and ginger. Serve.

Before bed

Non caffeinated herbal tea of your choice


Day 2

Breakfast Juice: Pineapple Orange

½ pineapple
2 oranges

Remove the rind from the pineapple and core. Cut into spears for easy juicing, set aside half for later. Peel the oranges. Juice the pineapple and oranges together. Drink immediately.

Lunch Juice: Tomato Spinach Carrot

3 tomatos
3 carrots
a small handful of spinach

Cut the tomatoes in wedges. Juice the carrots, tomatoes and spinach. Serve immediately.

Snack Juice

Drink a glass of your favorite juice (if you need recipes, go here)

Dinner Juice: Beet Carrot

½ beet
1 apples
4 carrots

Core the apple. Juice the apples, carrots, and beet together. Serve.

Before bed

Non caffeinated herbal tea


Day 3

Breakfast Juice: Strawberry Apple Carrot

2 cups of strawberries
1 apple
2 carrots

Core the apple, juice the carrots apple and strawberries, serve.

Lunch Juice: Orange Tomato Celery

2 oranges
1 tomato
2 stalks of celery

Peel the oranges. Juice the tomato, orange and celery. Serve.

Snack Juice

Drink a glass of your favorite fruit or vegetable juice.

Dinner Juice: Kale Pineapple

A few(4-5) leaves of kale
½ pineapple

Use the leftover pineapple from the other day. If you don’t have that left, then remove the rind and core the pineapple, set aside half. Juice the pineapple with the kale and serve.


Optional smoothies

Smoothie #1: Apple Berry Banana

1 apple
1 cup of your favorite berries
1 banana (frozen or fresh)

Place all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth. Serve.

Smoothie #2: Banana Spinach

3 frozen bananas
1 cup of fresh spinach
½ cup of water or almond milk
1 tbsp of vanilla

Place all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth. Serve.

Smoothie #3: Peachy Papaya

½ papaya, skinned and cut in chunks
2 peaches, pit removed

Place the peaches and cut up papaya in a blender. Process until smooth and serve.
