Vegetable Juicing

Vegetable juicing is one of the greatest things you can do for your body. It's provides your body with concentrated vitamins and minerals in liquid form.

The health benefits of vegetable juicing

Quick question: Have you ever tried to eat 8 carrots, 3 apples and a stalk of celery in one meal?

Some of us might have whipped up a salad with some of those ingredients, but its super hard and uncommon to do it all in one meal.

Well...

What if I told you a glass of juice could give you all of that nutrition, in just 8 ounces?

One glass of juice = a heck of a whole lot of vegetables

And what do vegetables have?

Lots of live, health-giving, healing vitamins, enzymes and minerals.

Can you imagine what that would do to your body?

It can do so much. For many, it makes thier skin glow, it helps health conditions to dissipate.

And the kicker?!

Most vegetable juices taste AWESOME.

Fair enough?

Let's start with some details on the Green Vegetables....

Green juice is important because of Chlorophyll. Chlorophyll is found in all green vegetables.

Green plants take in sunlight and transform it into food! This is called photosynthesis, and it is one of the most fundamental processes in nature. Green plants, algae and certain bacteria use the light energy of the sun to form carbohydrate food.

Famous research scientist E. Bircher called chlorophyll "concentrated sun power." He said, "It increases the functions of the head, affects the vascular system, the intestines, the uterus, and the lungs.

It raises basic nitrogen exchange and is therefore a tonic which, considering its stimulating properties, cannot be compared with any other."

The benefits of various green foods seem related to their chlorophyll content. Chlorophyll has the power to regenerate our bodies at the molecular and cellular level.

It is known to help cleanse the body, fight infection, help heal wounds, and promote the health of the circulatory, digestive, immune, and detoxification systems.

Chlorophyll consumption increases the number of red blood cells and, therefore, increases oxygen utilization by the body. Chlorophyll also reduces the binding of carcinogens to DNA in the liver and other organs.

It also breaks down calcium oxalate stones (kidney stones) for elimination, which are created by the body for the purpose of neutralizing and disposing of excess acid.

The other colors of vegetable juice are pretty cool too...

Fruits and vegetables come in terrific colors and flavors, but their real beauty lies in what's inside.

Fruits and vegetables are great sources of many vitamins, minerals and other natural substances that may help protect you and reverse chronic diseases.

Orange and yellow fruits and vegetables...

Antioxidants abound in the orange and yellow vegetables. The carotenoids found in orange and yellow veggies give them their bright color. A wide range of other phytochemicals is also found in this group, such as Vitamin C and flavonoids.

They contain beta-carotene, zeaxanthin, flavonoids, lycopene, potassium, and vitamin C.
