Fruits, Vegetables and Herbs Used For Indigestion
Common causes of indigestion are over-eating, irregular eating, eating too quickly, nervous tension and excess alcohol.
Most of these things are easily fixable or improved upon in time.
Symptoms may include abdominal discomfort, nausea or gas, bloating, fatigue, diarrhea or constipation.
Chronic problems can be caused by bowel issues, food allergies, ulcers or gall bladder disorder.
Try eating slower, eating at the same times each day, watching portion control and avoiding alcohol and acidic foods.
Juicing fruits and veggies that help with digestion and that soothe your insides can help a great deal.
Try juicing these fruits and vegetables:
Apricots, Bananas, Lemons, Mangoes, Melons, Papaya, Pineapple, Artichoke, Leafy Greens, Squash, Sweet Potato
Herbs:
Cardamom, Cayenne, Coriander, Dandelion, Dill, Chamomile, Cinnamon, Cumin, Fennel, Ginger, Lemon Balm, Meadowsweet, Peppermint, *Slippery Elm*, Tumeric
You might find that adding a little pure aloe vera juice to your juice every day might do the trick to ease your insides...
A good recipe
- half of a pineapple (peeled rind)
- 3 kiwi
- 2 oranges
After juicing these fruits together, add a tablespoon of aloe and mix until smooth.
