Health and nutritional benefits of green juice

Leafy greens are excellent sources of vitamin A and chlorophyll and good souces of vitamin C with some calcium, iron and potassium.  I'm talking Kale, swiss chard, collard greens, mustard greens, turnip greens, lettuce.

Green juices contain anti-cancer and antioxidant benefits. The chlorophyll it contains levels out blood sugar, cleans out blood cells and is one of the best juices you can put into your body. It is highly cleansing, gives energy, and contains essential nutrients to our well-being.

Chlorophyll is probably the most important aspect of why they are good for us.

For Juicing

Wash and roll along stem into a long cylinder and feed through tube by tapping. It is good practice to dilute green juice four parts to 1 with a milder juice or water. Because of its bitter taste its more palatable with a sweeter juice.

Juice yield Greens do not have a high juice yield. Generally, it takes quite a few leaves to get about ½ cup of juice.
