Vegetable smoothie recipes.  Get your veggies in by having tasty blended drinks.

Vegetable smoothies are a great way to get veggies into your diet. Don't think they taste bad either. They actually taste like a savory smoothie...some of them can be sweet when combined with apples or grapes, but many taste just fine without. Try these recipes to get some much needed vegetables into your everyday diet. I think you might be suprised!

Another option? Try green-only smoothies.


Savory Smoothie

1/2 red pepper 
1/2 cucumber
1 sprig spring onion
3 ½ oz of tomato juice
Juice of ½ lemon
½ avocado

Juice the tomato juice and lemon. Blend with the remaining ingredients. Season with a little tamari or braggs amio acids if desired. 


Avo Cuke

1 medium avocado
1 large cucumber
¼ cup chopped parsley
3 tbsp lemon juice

Put all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth. Add a tbsp of olive oil if desired. 


Tomato Parsley Smoothie

2 cups of tomato juice
1 bunch of parsley
A splash of braggs amino acids

Place all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth. Serve in a glass over crushed ice. 


Tomato Red Pepper


1 tomato
¼ red pepper
¼ of papaya peeled and seeded

Process all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Serve immediately. 


Green Tomato

1 bunch of dandelion greens
2 tomatoes
2 cups of water

Process all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Serve immediately. 


Green Smoothie

1 bunch of dandelion greens or lettuce
1 medium cucumber
2 cups of water

Process all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Serve immediately. 


Sweet Greens

1 cup of green chard
1 stalk of celery
1 cup of cherry tomatoes
1 pear
1 apple
1/2 cup of water

Process all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Serve immediately.
