Q: Are they really as bad as you make them out to be? You tend to lead toward the single gears, but the centrifugal are in my price range. Is it even worth it?
A: Hi Roger, yes, you got me, I don't think that the centrifugal juicers are as good as the single gears. The reason is based on the grinding and extraction process. Single gears operate at a lower speed and they tend to chop up the fibers better, seperating the juice from the pulp more efficiently. I do think that centrifugal are good juicers AND worth it, just not AS good as the single gears. After all, I did start out with a centrifugal juicer myself! Any fresh juice is better then none at all!
