Easy smoothie recipes.  Nothing complicated. Blend and done.

easy smoothie recipes

I’m all about easy recipes. And I especially love an easy smoothie. That’s part of the reason why I love my Vitamix.

Number one, smoothies are hands down the easiest meal on the planet. Put a few fruits and veggies into the blender, and you’re all set.

Number two, you don't need complicated or weird ingredients to make a good go-to easy smoothie.  Try a few out and adopt your favorites as your own.  You'll need some good easy recipes in your back pocket for when you're running late or are short on time.

Tips for making easy smoothies

  • Get a good blender. The Vitamix has changed my life. I never have to be afraid that I’m working it too hard, and it works faster than the typical blender. Good equipment is key. It’s also super easy to clean, and has a tamper to safely push down on the fruit if it gets stuck.
  • Always keep frozen fruit in the fridge. Nothing makes smoothies easier then having frozen fruit on hand. While fresh is always better, its easier for me to not have to worry about fruit going bad and always keep a stash.
  • Honey, fresh filtered water or milk of your choice are always staples in an easy smoothie recipe. Always keep these staples on hand
  • Don’t stress about the recipes. Simple is better, and pick a few below and use them frequently. Then, when you become more comfortable create your own. You don’t need to have 10 ingredients to make a great smoothie. In fact, some of my favorites are just 1 or two fruits.
