Fruits, Vegetables and Herbs Used for Liver Problems
Liver problems are many times due to a diet that does not support it's proper function.
The liver removes toxins that can interfere with the nervous system, digestive system, heart function and circulation.
A diet with excess fat, chemcials and refined/processed foods disrupt liver function. So if you can, try to reduce these....
The following suggestions can help support a healthy liver when eaten or of course, juiced.
Fruits and vegetables to juice:
Apples, Blackberries, Dark Grapes, Plums, Raspberries, Beets, Carrots, Celery, Leafy Greens, Onions, Tomatoes, Watercress
Herbs to juice or add in tincture form to juice:
Alfalfa, Astragalus, Burdock, Cayenne, Dandelion, Chicory, Fennel, Fenugreek, Chamomile, Ginger, Dandelion, Lemon Balm, Licorice, Garlic, Milk Thistle, Nettle, Parsley, Rosemary, Turmeric, Yellow Dock

- 2 kale leaves
- 6 spinach leaves
- 1 beet(you can use the tops too, if you have them
- 1 dandelion leaf(you can also get this in herbal tincture form)
You can add two tbsp of blackstrap molasses if desired for taste and nutrition.
