Fruits, Vegetables and Herbs Used For Peptic Ulcers
Stomach and intestinal ulcers (called peptic ulcers) occur when the protective mucus lining breaks down, sometimes caused by infection.
Some medications increase acid formation that break down the mucus lining. Stress and food allergies are also factors.
To help your body heal, try reducing acids (mainly acidic foods) that errode the stomach and intestinal lining and switch to foods that aid in protecting and soothing the stomach lining.
Herbs and a diet with a high percentage of raw vegetables have proven very helpful in these conditions.
