Fruits, Vegetables and Herbs Used For Fibromyalgia

Fibromyalgia is a painful condition. Studies have shown that juicing and a good diet can help reduce the pain significantly. People with Fibromyalgia might want to consider a juice detox to elimate any toxins that may have built up in thier system. Avoiding all processed foods and eating a clean diet has shown to help many.

Because I have close family members affected by this condition, I strongly believe that it is caused by a build up of toxins within the body that cannot be elimiated properly. I think that these toxins remain in the cells and muscles and cause pain.

A proper well balanced diet with nothing artifical greatly turns this condition around. If you are willing and able, a cleanse followed by a raw food diet would give you great improvement. It might be a struggle at first, but in time you might be surprised. Try it!

About Detox Juicing

Juicing will help feed and clean your cells which will in turn help your body to function properly. Try to juice at least once every day, and slowly add a few greens to your juice.

Tip: Rubbing the tincture of Arnica topically on the body can reduce muscular pain. My mother has fibromyalgia and finds great relief from using arnica daily. sells an awesome Arnica based lotion, that is also helpful.

Fruits and vegetables to eat and juice

Apples, Beets, Broccoli, Cabbage, Cauliflower, Celery, Fennel, Green Beans, Jersalem Artichokes, Onions, Squash, Sweet Potato, Watercress


*Alfalfa*, Astragulus (builds immune), Burdock, Calendula, Dandelion, Echinacea, Evening Primrose Oil, Garlic, Licorice, Milk thistle, Parsley, Slippery Elm Bark Powder, St John's Wart or Valerian (for nerves), Tumeric

Juicing recipes for everyday

Recipe for cleansing and energy

  • 3 sprigs of parsley
  • 1 handful of spinach
  • 1 handful of watercress
  • 3 apples

Core the apples and cut into wedges.  Juice the watercress, spinach, parsley and apple, alternating produce.  Serve immediately.

Recipe for daily nutrition

  • 1 sweet potato
  • 4 carrots
  • 1 stalk broccoli
  • 1 sprig of peppermint (optional)

Cut the carrots into 3 inch pieces.  Cut the sweet potato into wedges.  Juice the carrots, broccoli, peppermint, and potato.  Serve immediately.
