Using Tap Water

by Anonymous

Q: I don't have filtered water, can I use my tap water?

A: Hi! Well, you could...but.. It's not the best idea. Tap water has all sort of toxins that will hinder your cleansing. From flouride to heavy metals it's best to keep your water as pure as possible. By doing the master cleanse you are trying to cleanse, so if you are putting chemicals and dirt into your body, it will be counter-intuitive.

I always suggest reverse osmosis for everyday use. I installed one like this (Watts WP5-50 Premier Five-Stage Manifold Reverse Osmosis Water Treatment System
)one under my sink and the water tastes fantastic. I have the confidence in knowing that its clean water.

Before I could afford to do this, I had a brita water filter. While this doesn't remove everything, it still works great. Pur water filters are another option and worth the small investment.

Good luck on your cleanse!
