Juicing Recipes For Kids
These sweet, yummy and oh-so-good-for-you juicing recipes for kids will please any child. If you are concerned with the juices being too strong, follow the guidelines for juicing for children.
Any of these recipes can be diluted or stretched with ½ cup to 1 cup of water.
Test out the taste….you might even come to love these juicing recipes for kids too!
Generally, the more plain and common the juices are the more likely children will adapt to them (their bodies and their mind).
If you are just starting off your child on fresh juices, don’t make uncommon and spicy drinks with ginger or juices with bell peppers, for example….apple, pineapple, orange, grape and pear are all wonderful options for starters. Then incorporate some of the different fruits and veggies which can easily be masked by stronger fruits.
Also try green smoothies for a great way to add more veggies and fiber into their diet. Smoothies and juice, whew! Your kids will be the healthiest on the block!
Limit fruit juice to 12 oz per day. If they really like juice, just dilute it so they can drink more….

Watermelon Juice
1/8 of the watermelon…just cut a few slices and juice until you have enough. Watermelon is so juicy and light, this isn’t one you’ll want to dilute with water. You can juice some of the rind but I prefer not too. It’s very hard on your juicer (but does have vitamins and minerals).

Carrot - Apple - Parsley
If your child is a little sluggish and needs some umph…try this one. But don’t worry if you have a hyper child, it wont make them more, our bodies know exactly how to use the nutrients for their benefit.
5 carrots
1 apple
Small handful of parsley (few sprigs only)
Core the apple and wash and cut the carrots. Juice all ingredients together. I wouldn’t dilute this one, would taste yucky. If you want it sweeter, add more apples as they are watery and not strong on the digestive system.

Pineapple Celery
They won’t even know celery is part of the equation. This is a calming drink…perhaps after a day with your kids you need this one?!
2- 1 inch thick pineapple rounds
2 stalks of celery
Prep the pineapple by cutting off the skin and coring it. Cut the celery into smaller pieces so it’s easy for your juicer. Juice together and serve.
